Walls and suspended ceilings that were added at a later date are being removed to reveal the stucco ceilings and restore the spacious, light-filled rooms of the manufacturer\u2019s villa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-right wp-block-paragraph\">On another course, visitors can experience the small, interlocking <mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-primary-color\">spatial structures of the post-war period.<\/mark> erlebbar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-right wp-block-paragraph\">There is also a central room dedicated to <mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-primary-color\">commemorating the Jewish people<\/mark> for whom Villa Buth was a forced residence. What might their future look like? In the design for the park, what is already there is brought to life and, through small, targeted interventions, complemented by a new layer of history.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Walks through space and time<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<section class=\"vb-gallery\" aria-label=\"Bild\">\n\n  <div class=\"vb-data\" hidden>\n\n    <a href=\"https:\/\/villa-buth.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/Axo-Aussenanlagen.jpg\"\n       data-alt=\"\"\n       data-caption=\"\"\n       data-credit=\"\"><\/a>\n\n    <a href=\"https:\/\/villa-buth.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/Lageplan.jpg\"\n       data-alt=\"\"\n       data-caption=\"\"\n       data-credit=\"\"><\/a>\n  <\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Themed walks wind their way through the grounds of Villa Buth. They illustrate the history of the site in a spatial context: from its origins, through its time as a forced residence for Jewish men and women, to its various uses from the 1950s to the present day. Traces of all these periods remain in the park, and the walks are designed to make them visible and tangible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cA Stroll through the Private Park\u201d guides visitors along the original historicist layout and highlights the historical landmarks.<br>The \u2018Post-war Pragmatism\u2019 walking tour offers an insight into the changes made to the outdoor areas in the 1950s and 1960s. With the establishment of a garden centre and the construction of the house at Im Kn\u00fcppelchen 8, the park\u2019s original layout along a symmetrical axis was disrupted and the cross-connection was strengthened.<br>\u2018Zeitreise\u2019 brings together all the historical periods and provides a comprehensive overview of all the historical stages. The newly added elements are also discussed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<section class=\"vb-gallery\" aria-label=\"Bild\">\n\n  <div class=\"vb-data\" hidden>\n\n    <a href=\"https:\/\/villa-buth.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/Ansicht-Eingang.jpg\"\n       data-alt=\"\"\n       data-caption=\"\"\n       data-credit=\"\"><\/a>\n\n    <a href=\"https:\/\/villa-buth.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/Modell-Park-1.jpg\"\n       data-alt=\"\"\n       data-caption=\"\"\n       data-credit=\"\"><\/a>\n  <\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">All walks start at the new entrance to Kirchberg. Here, the wall will be symbolically opened and fitted with a new canopy \u2013 everyone is welcome here!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">From the new entrance, you approach the villa via the former paddock: an unusual perspective on this building with \u2018two rear sides\u2019. At the fork in the path, you can choose: turn left for the Historicist walk, or turn right to learn about the pragmatism of the post-war years. Paths laid out with bricks lead to this spot, so that the wall is reflected in the ground. A circular path layout in the historical style echoes the presumed historical design of the villa garden. At the centre is a simple platform built over the former water basin. Nevertheless, it continues to be perceived as a dividing element. A red-glazed brick bearing their name commemorates each and every resident of Villa Buth. The edge of the demolition site is adorned with these name bricks, and other individual bricks are replaced.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<section class=\"vb-gallery\" aria-label=\"Bild\">\n\n  <div class=\"vb-data\" hidden>\n\n    <a href=\"https:\/\/villa-buth.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/Detail-Gedenkstaette.jpg\"\n       data-alt=\"\"\n       data-caption=\"\"\n       data-credit=\"\"><\/a>\n  <\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.familienbuch-euregio.eu\/VillaButh.html\">Familienbuch Euregio<\/a> contains a list of the Jewish men and women who were forcibly housed at Villa Buth between 1941 and 1942. Some of the names were selected as examples for the drawing.
